  1. activephilosophy says:

I am not sure what is meant by inexistence

  2. deadondres says:

Me either. I suppose the want or absence of being and existence? Not logical or concievable but does that mean it does not function/influence what does exist? You could say nonexistant. Like a unicorn or something.

I say this because Zen insists on non-being. This is inexistence. You can apply this to your own life in that death may signify inexistence, and even the illusion of living itself masks non-being.

    Can existence be without inexistence?

I would say no. The two are not mutually exclusive and come as a pair. Have 0 without in infinity also makes no sense.

Can inexistence not be without existence?

Again this is basically the same question: the two are intimately related

Is ∞ the same as existence?

No. I would argue that 0 AND infinity are BOTH existence and nonexistence. This means infinity encompasses both as does 0.

Is 0 the same as inexistence?

I am just not sure if you can separate existence from nonexistence and 0 from infinity. They are some what like twins, yet one of them might be the “evil” one or something. They are different manifestation of the same thing.
